What is your favourite country?

Elizabeth: Burma for beauty, history and the friendliest people on the planet. Thailand is where I feel most at home, I love the culture, the people, the FOOD, and it’s super easy to travel around. NYC for city life and Barcelona for a quick city break.

Raj: Australia is where I feel at home. It tested me and challenged me but rewarded me for the risks I took there. There are brilliant places all over the world but Oz is this place my mind wanders when I think about wandering.

What camera do you use?

We use a Canon 60D with a 50mm 1.8 lens for most photographs. We also use a little Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS for vlogging and quick snapshots. And sometimes we will grab snaps on our iPhones.

Previously we have used a number of different cameras for the photographs you see on this blog.

When did you start blogging?

Elizabeth has been blogging since 2008, first with a couple of travel blogs then from 2010 she wrote her award-winning lifestyle blog Rosalilium.

Raj is fairly new to blogging. He writes a Men’s Lifestyle blog over at Average Chap and has recently been featured as a top influencer by Cision.

What is your full-time job?

Elizabeth is a full-time freelance blogger and social media type. This means she does a huge range of activities but mainly involves running several blogs including Rosalilium and Blognix. She delivers social media and marketing training for various clients, and teaches e-courses at Blogging Bootcamp. She is frequently asked to speak at events on topics around Blogging and Social Media. She has organised the Blognix conference for two years running. Elizabeth also does freelance blogging and social media management for businesses looking to grow their online presence. Phew!

Raj works with Elizabeth running their own digital media business. He is generally the brains and logistics behind the operation. He also works as a Special Constable with Warwickshire Police, volunteering in the community he grew up in.
